School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

Harmony Week and Book Week events

performances, concerts or school productions

Carols

Date: 10th December, 2025

Time: 5:30 - 8:30pm

Each year, we celebrate Christmas with our community by holding Carols by Torchlight led by Miss Brentnall and Mrs Edwards. This event is very well attended by our school community, and our students perform a Christmas carol. This year, Outback Steakhouse is supporting the event, and a delicious dinner can be preordered to enjoy on the night.

Year 6 Farewell

Date: 15th December, 2025

Time: 5:30 - 8:30pm
Every year we celebrate our Year 6 students finishing their primary schooling with a fantastic celebration. This event is led by Mr Megas and some of our amazing Year 6 parents. This is a very special evening where students have time to reflect on and celebrate their time at Ruse.

2026 K-6 Students

Date: Monday 2nd February
School will reopen on Monday 2nd February 2026.

We look forward to welcoming all K-6 students back as we begin the new academic year. Prepare for a fresh start and an exciting year of learning ahead. See you on the first day!
